A Pot of Burnin Love‏

Hey everyone! Hope you all had an awesome week! This week was pretty fun. We had several eating appointments with one family named Familien Andersen who are just so fun and awesome! They have 3 small girls who are just the cutest! One thing they taught me was that in school if you stick your tounge out at someone while looking at them you have to kiss them 10 times haha. Its called "Ti kyse og kaerlighed"

This week was really good as well as far as lessons go and stuff. We tied the highest amount of lessons Ive ever gotten in this area and so hopefully we can continue to help it grow and just find and teach so much more. One miracle that happend this week was that we went out to this little town just outside of odense for an appt. and of course got burned. Typical. So then we had nothing else to do so we whipped out the knocking book and saw there was a stop by so we though sure what the heck! We stopped by and it was the way old guy named Jens and has been going through a rough time the last little bit. He did have a book of mormon but had never been taught and it turns out he has read almost the entire book of mormon and just believes everything we talked about and everything. It was awesome! So we've started teaching him.

Finally over the weekend we did some more service with a guy named Claus. We just chopped a ton of wood and stuff like that but it was really fun to just hang with all the ward members that came to help. Afterward we ate this Danish food called Braendende Kaerlighed (Burning Love) (really spelled with the weird ae thing but for some reason my computer is typing in english..) Anyway its way good! All it is is mashed potatoes with a crap ton of butter and bacon in it. Its divine!

Anyway, thats about it for this week! We have transfer calls on Thursday so Ill let yall know what happens! Stay crisp my potato chips!

Hey yall!

So this week was really busy. We actually had a pretty decent amount of lessons and appointments this week so that was really good. We're working freakin hard to build up this area more and find someone to baptize. This week was pretty up and down though. A ton of way awesome appointments and fun things that happened but also a lot of disappointing things as well. One fun thing was last Monday we had an eating appointment with vietnamese member and so she sang a bunch of songs to us in Vietnamese which was pretty great.

Hope you all have an awesome week this week! Love you guys!

Ipads??‏

So this week we had our zone training about really working on finding through members and stuff like that. We talked a lot about using the because he lives video in our missionary work as well. Our president gave us permission to use facebook to contact people and stuff that was pretty mind blowing. He also hinted a lot of some super secret meetings he was having this month talking about technology and stuff so hopefully thats code for we're getting ipads really soon!! :)

On Saturday we did another service project just chopping a ton of wood again. We had a really weird splits thing though because of a baptism that was happing my mtc companion Æ. Higby came on splits so that was a lot of fun catching up with him.

Miracle story: So a month ago or so we were out in the middle of nowhere contacting a referal who ended up not being interested. :( But then on the way back we decided to knock on this way random little farm house and they were totally interested to talk. Weve contacted them a few more times and we finally set up an appointment with their family on Thursday.

Thats about all it for this week! Have an awesome week! Love you all!

Easter and Lots of Church Pics‏

It sounds like you all had an awesome easter/conference weekend! Also thats sounds pretty crazy about march madness!

This week was a great week with general conference and easter and all. It was kinda hard because here in Denmark they get like a whole week off of work and stuff for easter so like half our investigators were out of town so that was annoying. But, we did started just stopping by member and finding less actives and things like that and its really great. I feel way dumb that I didnt do this before but like stopping by and just getting to know the members a bit is the bomb! So that is something me and my comp are going to continue to do is making a big push to stop by members consistently and work with them a lot more.

Also on the way to the church on sunday to watch conference we decided to walk in the Domkirke and experience a little bit of Den Danske folkekirke. That was pretty sweet to check that out!

Last night we also had a great expereince contacting again. I dont know why but for some reason were actually having quite a bit of success contacting and knocking and stuff. Its really weird but Im not complaining. We contacted this dude with like 5 minutes until we were supposed to be in and just started talking to him about christ and stuff. However, it turned into like a 45 minute conversations and ended up getting his number and giving him a book of mormon. It was just really great because after that contact I really felt like I made a friend.

On Tuesday we did service for this guy named Claus which we usually do like once every other week or so and we usually just chop down trees and stuff like that. But this time after we were done, he took us inside and had a try a 'Danish Delicacy.' He came out with this thing that was Rubrød (way dark bread) with raw ground up beef, a raw egg, onions, and this other weird plant type thing. Now before yall freak about the raw meat he had to explain that apparently here in Denmark they slaughter cows and crap differently so that theres no disease and stuff like that. Whatever, so I knock it back and it was actually way good! Like I actually wanted seconds! So ya that was my weird meal of the week. Kids, I wouldnt suggest going around eating raw meat, apparently thats just a danish thing.

Anyway, Have an awesome week and stay friske mine kartofler!
Meget kærlighed,
