Kronborg Slot‏

Hey yall! Congrats Lindsey on getting accepted to Utah St. man! thats way awesome and Im totally stoked for you!

This week has been pretty fun. We had a distrkt activity to celebrate the final week of the transfer by going up to Kronborg slot in Helsingør. That was a lot of fun just hanging out with my buds and also seeing a bunch of history. The sisters in the distrikt also had a baptism on Saturday which went really great! Finally, like I said it was the last week of the transfer so we got transfer calls on Saturday. I will be staying here in Hillerød and training again so that will be fun.

Yesterday in church we had a great discussion in priesthood about getting answers to prayers and stuff. It got me thinking about how a lot of times it seems like I pray for something and I dont feel like a get an answer for a long time. When this happens, I've learned that you got to keep moving and finding the answer for your self. I compare it to standing in a completely dark room. If you just stand there and not do anything the light is not going to get turned on. You got to start with what you know. for example: I know that light switches are usually on the walls. So the least we can start out doing is slowly moving and finding the walls and then feeling around for the light switch. And eventually we can always get our answer, it just sometimes requires us to act on our own, maybe make our own decisions, and continue to be faithful in keeping the commandments and doing what we're supposed to and eventually it will come. Thats basically my thoughts on yesterday.. Anyways, Have a great week everyone!

Tempel Tur‏

Hey yall! So this week was pretty good. I would say the highlight was definitely being able to go to the temple this past saturday though. Lise, the lady we baptized in Køge, went to the temple for the first time and did baptisms for her mom. It was a way awesome experience to get to participate in that as well. It was also way fun because the stake was doing a youth temple trip so that was a ton of fun to see so many people I new from my past areas and being able to catch up a bit.
Have a great week! Love you Guys!

February 1, 2016

So this week was pretty average. Nothing to crazy going on. On Thursday we had a pretty fun activity with the unge voksne in the warde. We played a game, ate dinner and just talked and hung out and stuff. We had a great appointment with one of our investigators who has been investigating for like 5 years where we kinda just did a do or die type lesson and invited him to baptism. To our shock he actually said that he wanted to be baptized! So we are going to continue to work with him and see if we can make a baptismal date with him this week. Other than that this past week has been really slow. This coming week should be really busy though so that's good.
Anyways, Have a great week!

ps. this is a funny little delivery car they always drive around here.

Adventures on Bornholm‏

Hey yall! Thanks for the emails, it was great to get to read about all the fun stuff going on with you guys this past week. For me this week was pretty ok. Our area is pretty dang slow right now so we've been doing a ton of finding but hopefully we'll be able to build it up pretty good here this week. I guess the highlight from this week was that we got to go on splits on Bornholm! Distrikt leaders only get to go there once every 6 months so it was way lucky I got to do it this month. We got to drive to Sweden and then take a ferry over to the island. Bornholm was way pretty, had some great beaches and it was just a blast to hang out with the elders over there. Anyways, Hope yall have another way great week! Love you tons!

Transferred Again!...‏

Hey yall! so this week was a lot of fun. We were on splits a lot in slagelse this week but it was fun.  So I guess the big news for this week is that I got transferred again. They didn't decide to tell us until like 2 days ago so I didn't have to much time to say goodbye to people which was a bummer but I am excited to go into my 6th and possibly final area. I have moved to Hillerød (Hill-eh-rool)! My new companion is Elder Francis who comes from Kaysville Utah. We live in a members basement which I think is the only apartment in the mission where we don't really have our own legit apartment but is actually in a members house. Hillerød also has one of the most popular castles in Danmark called the Frederiksborg slot. So I'm super excited to check that out.  Of course it was super sad to say goodbye to everyone in Roskilde but I am excited to be in Hillerød.

Anyways, that's really the biggest news that happened. I hope you all have an awesome week! love you guys a ton!
This is the only picture I could get with members, but this is Rigmore Fisher. She is Norwegian.

Great start to the New Year!‏

Hey Yall! I am glad to hear it was a pretty good new years (stille og rolig anyways). This week for me was a really great week. We celebrated new years at the ward mission leader and his family. It was a lot of fun. Nothing to special just sat and talked and ate delicious food mostly. Oh it was also awesome to watch all the Danish people go buck wild with fireworks. After about half an hour you couldnt even see anything because there was so much smoke in the sky. It was great.

The other highlight of the week was that Lise got baptized!!! woot woot! The program went really smoothly. The only problem honestly was that when I got up to give a talk I realized I forgot my scriptures so I had to run out in the hall and grab em but other than that it went great! :) She also got confirmed in church yesterday and the ward was just great in welcoming her and stuff. Now we will begin working on having her find her own names to take to the temple. It was really a great start to the new year this year.

Transfers are coming on thursday so I'll let yall know whats going down with that. I really have no idea what will happen this time. Love you guys a ton. Thank you guys again for all the love and support! It really means a ton to me :) Have another great week!
